At age sixteen, he landed his first position as Art Director for the local newspaper "The Ledger" in Montrose, California. Later he completed technical college programs in Technical Illustration, Photography and Sign Art.
At the age of 21, with a group of talented artists, the company "Total Graphics" was created. The firm specialized in Advertising, Signage and Quality Printing.
